Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Liverpool, Steve ‘Avo’ Lindsey began his musical career in Deaf School, and formed The Planets in 1979. On their demise he moved into music publishing, initially with Warner/Chappell, and later joined Island Music as creative director.
