It’s been a few years since ‘45 Revolutions Per Minute’, ‘The Patron Saint Of Heartache’ and their associated singles hit our turntables. Now, to spread the word to the world the band are releasing their good to the world of Streaming.

“I signed Candy Opera on the strength of the songs on most recent album ‘Patron Saint Of Heartache’. When I realised none of their albums were available digitally and our good friends at Hayabusa Landings expressed an interest in re-releasing the Candy Opera back catalogue on CD in Japan, we decided it was a great opportunity to make these songs available again to fans and will hopefully bring in new fans whilst recording continues on the new album.”

Meanwhile…
Japanese label Hayabusa Landings re-released all 3 Candy Opera albums on CD in Japan through a licensing agreement with Fretsore Records on 28th May 2025. Patron Saint as a single CD and 45 Revs/Rarities as a double CD release. Each release has unique bonus tracks.

A new album from Candy Opera is anticipated to be released on Fretsore in 2026.
